Founded by serial entrepreneur Riccardo Vittoria (whose last venture was acquired by American Express GBT), Acai Travel is led by experienced leaders, including Pavel Pratyush (ex-Manomano, eBay) heading up Engineering.

What You’ll Do at Acai

• Architect and Build: Design and develop key components and services of our platform, leveraging LLMs to tackle complex challenges in the Travel Operations industry, including Corporate Travel Management Companies, Online Travel Agencies, and Hotels.
• Code and Scale: Contribute to a codebase that handles an average of 4K LLM calls daily. Write efficient, testable code that scales. We primarily use Golang.
• Own Your Work: Embrace full ownership of your code in production. You’ll build it, ship it, and own it, using tools like Github, Docker, ECS, and Datadog.
• Shape the Future: Collaboratively define our product, technical architecture, processes, and standards, making a significant impact on the company’s direction.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience at Scale: You have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex systems at scale.
• Backend Proficiency: Expertise in Golang or a similar backend language.
• DevOps Savvy: Strong DevOps knowledge, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, containerization, and A/B deployments.
• Integration Skills: Experience with third-party API integration, web services, and data crawling.
• Effective Communication: Ability to convey complex ideas clearly in English.
• Experience: 5+ years in relevant roles.

Bonus Points For:

• Streaming & Messaging: Experience with streaming systems and message brokers like Kafka.
• AI Enthusiast: Interest or experience in AGI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.

We’re a hands-on team that thrives on in-person collaboration. Our office is a dynamic, startup environment where we whiteboard and problem-solve together every day.
